Today I officially became a prune. (Becca...a prune is a dried out, wrinkled, used to be plum. A plum is a fruit. lol)
Kalli had her first Tumble Bug and Swim class this morning. This is a child/parent class. The Tumle Bug part is in the gym doing some climbing/jumping/sliding. Then we moved into the pool for the Swim part. She was very excited and kept screaming "YEAH!". That is until we walked into the water. She got her feet wet no problem, but as it got up to her thighs she decided that she would rather walk up mommy and try to get on mommy's shoulders. It was interesting as I'm walking in the pool trying to get her feet off my shoulders while holding her hands out in front of me and her butt isn't even touching the water. Andy, who was watching from behind the glass, said it looked like an interesting move. Once I detangled her from my body and was holding her everything went very well and she had a blast.
She loved being in the water and I had to hold on tight because she kept just about leaping out of my arms to swim (with big arms)
Then this afternoon, I picked Cassie up from school and headed right over to the Y with both girls in tow. I dropped them off at the Kids Korner and went to teach my 2 classes. Cassie of course was fine while I was gone. She only cried when I came back and said that it was time to go. Kalli cried off and on the entire time I was gone, but only for a couple minutes every 15-20 minutes. Better then I thought she would do. This gives me hope that maybe someday she'll be ok the entire time I leave her there :)
I work again tomorrow morning. Seriously, I'm gunna look like a prune! My skin is gunna just decide it is easier to stay wrinkled, then go back and forth. However, I'm extremely clean and any cut I have is disinfected.
Here is a pretty picture for you...please notice the color. I chose this picture because the flower is purple...kinda like a prune!
