Today I voted for the first time ever. In the past I never cared about politics and in fact I tried to avoid it whenever possible. I liked being completely oblivious.

This year, however, for some reason I have more interest in things and decided to make my mark on things :)

As I was in line to vote, Kalli asked what we were doing.

Me: I need to vote today
Kalli: For what?
Me: I need to vote to say who I think should be the next president.
Kalli: Oh.

I don't think that she knows what exactly it all means, but I love the fact that she asks questions and is happy with easy answers.
