Summer is around the corner!

This week is Cassie's last week of Kindergarten. She has learned so much this year. Her reading is awesome, she is adding, counting by 2 5 and 10's, and one thing that I'm floored by...she knows the names of all the planets. I don't remember learning this in Kindergarten. It is up Cassie's alley though. She LOVES the sky and anything that has to do with it.

It is hard to believe that summer is just about here and that in about 3 months I'll have a first grader on my hands. She is really growing up quickly. Luckily...she is also growing up to be a little girl that I'm very proud of and impressed in.

Speaking of growing up...Kalli Jean is well on her way to being potty trained. I know I haven't said much of late about how it is going. This is mainly because.... it isn't exactly that exciting of a topic :) Kalli goes most days with no accidents and has now gone poop on the toilet three times of her own doing. When she does have an accident, she is very upset about it... Like today she was washing some dishes (Her favorite activity) and all of a sudden she started crying because she had already gone. I think that between her hands being in the water and playing, she just forgot about it. I got her to the bathroom and calmed her as I changed her. I then explained that accidents happen and that she just has to try to remember to let me know before she goes the next time. I have to admit, however, that I think it is cute how upset she gets. I don't like her being upset, mind you. But how obsessive she gets about "underwear wet" is cute. Especailly when it is a pair of her favorite underwear...like Tinker Bell. She cries saying "Tinker Bell say (high voice here) No pee me!" And she crosses her arms like she is mad. There are moments that I think she actually thinks that Tinker Bell is upset with her. Who knows with that imagination!

Now for the only problem with summer being around the corner. What on Earth am I going to do to keep them both busy for the entire 3 months??????
