Took a road trip yesterday...to Delavan to watch a Homecoming game at my cousin's old high school. It was fun and it was cool seeing people again that I haven't seen in over 7 years. Both the girls came along and did very well, I thought. They were well behaved and for being such a long ride...did wonderfully.
Then last night Andy and I went out. We didn't leave until bar close...talk about fun. That is all I will say there...some things are better left short.
Today Miss Cassie wasn't doing well. For about the last week and a half she has had a dry cough that does nothing, other then irritate her. This morning she woke at my parents and started crying. They took her temp and sure enough...she had a small fever. She spent the entire day laying on the couch/floor at home dozing in and out. She wouldn't eat much of anything and would only take sips of water when pushed or she was coughing. I took her temp throughout the day and it only increased. Before bed she was up to 102.4 so I called Ask-a-Nurse to see how often I can give her Ibuprofen. The nurse said that it sounds like she has viral bronchitis. It is going around and will run it's course in about another 1.5-2 weeks. My poor baby!
I absolutely hate when Cassie is sick. As her temperature climbs it only reminds me of when she was so sick with an infection in her shunt. I remember being so scared those months she was sick. Not knowing what to do and not having any clue what was wrong. 103-105 are not numbers you should see on a thermometer for a baby. Tonight as I was cuddling with her I told her about when she was so sick...and how scared we were. I pray we never have to do that again. During one of Cassie's naps this afternoon, Andy and I rearranged and cleaned the girls room. We took down the crib, (where'd that time go?) put up a pet net, and put the bunk beds back together. For now we will not put up the ladder to the upper bunk... I think it is safer that way. When Cassie woke she went in her room, looked around, and laid on the floor in middle of the room. That's as much as we got out of her about what she thought of her room. Again...Poor girl.

Over the next couple days you will be getting to see pics I've taken going to and from Delavan...enjoy!
