Cassie stayed home from school today. She was running 101.6 when she woke this morning. I told her the "rules" of staying home from school...

1. You can only stay home if you are really sick...running fever or throwing up
2. When you stay home you have to lay low...stick to bed, couch, floor
3. You can watch movies, TV, play board games, or go on the computer for little bits of time, but no rough housing/rough play.

She did very well at following the rules. I didn't doubt that she would, but wanted to lay them down for future reference as well. By the end of the night you could tell she was feeling a little better. She was playing with Kalli a bit, but still did a lot of cuddling/laying on me. I think she'll be fine to go to school tomorrow, but we'll have to see in the morning.

The main downfall of her staying home today is that she missed picture day. She will have to go to the make-up session to get her pictures taken. Now if only I could remember when those are. Hmmm....
