Thursday

I admit it...I'm spoiled!

I hurt. Or more accurately, I ache. That is right...I'm sick. It isn't anything too horrible. Just sore throat, cough, drippy nose, earache, and over all achiness. I am the last in the household to get the cold. I always am. And of course by the time I get it, it has morphed into a different version. Cassie and Kalli had cough and runny noses. Andy had cough and achiness. Me...I get it all plus some. Yeah ME!

So feeling icky, I made a call to my Auntie Mary yesterday and left her a voice mail whining and sniffing telling her that I thought I deserved some Chicken Dumpling soup. (Note: She makes delicious Chicken Dumpling soup!) Luckily I hadn't gotten around to picking up some the last time she made it and she had some frozen in her freezer. I made a quick trip out to her place to get it and last night I had a bowl of steaming soup.

Today was a lazy day for us. I spent the day laying on the couch with Andy and Kalli, relaxing and watching tv. In all honesty, it is the kind of day I needed. Hopefully between the soup and the rest, I can get rid of this cold quickly.

And hopefully it doesn't make it's round back to the kids right away.
