One week of school done. And? Cassie is loving it. Kalli however...is taking time to adjust.

I knew that it would be hard on Kalli when Cassie went back to school, but I didn't realize just how hard it would be. And I didn't realize that it would be hard on all of us. Kalli has been a moody, whiney, mess since Cassie's first day. She spends her entire day walking around whining at Andy and I. Taking breaks periodically to throw herself down somewhere crying.

The other day she fell asleep in the van while we were running errands. When she woke I asked if she had a good nap. She looked at me unamused and said "miss Cassie". Those were her first words upon waking. It is all I can do not to either laugh or scream. I understand she misses her sister...and I'm glad that they are so close, but Kalli is driving me crazy!! I'm hoping this isn't a sign of how she deals with change.

And we're onto week two. Hopefully Kalli does better. For her sake and mine.
