Lumpless

Today I came home from the hospital.

Yesterday morning I had surgery on my abdomen....again. My shunt had migrated within my abdomen and was collecting the spinal fluid under the skin and causing a large, hard, and uncomfortable lump. All-in-all....I just moved the pressure from my head to my belly. I had it drained at the doctor's office (4 pokes with a large needle - taking out 240mls) and it was back within 1.5 days. Makes me wonder how much fluid I'm actually producing.

Anyway...I got sprung from the hospital this morning at 10. Enough time to visit with my girlies for a while and then get to our Fantasy Football Draft party for noon.

I'm sore, but good. Looking forward to being fully healed and have my life back again. I can't wait to do things with the girls without having to watch how I move or dealing with a "lump".

PS... 2 days until school starts :) Not that I'm counting or anything.
