Today was a good day.

It started off with me getting my (25) stitches out. I have to say how happy I am with the doctor and his staff that did my surgery. It's only been 10 days, yet my "scars" are very clean and minimal. I'm also very happy with the results. I feel human again. My only complaints are of my abdomen which is still hurting..but I can't complain too much because it is my fault it is hurting. I lifted more then I should have and now I have swelling and pain to show for it. I'm just hoping that it heals quickly so that I can do more things on my own. As I mentioned in the last post, we've been staying with my parents since my surgery so that I have help with the girls at night. This weekend we are making the "move" back home. I'm sure that the girls will help me at home when I need it. I have to say that I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again.

This afternoon Kalli got her first haircut. We didn't even have to talk it up much. She was very excited because she said her hair would be like Cassie's. She got the full treatment...shampoo, cut, and dry. She never cried. In fact...she didn't talk the entire time. Details. We had it cut so that it is all one length and ends at her shoulders. Let me just say that it is adorable and that she likes it as well. She spent a good part of her evening "flipping" her hair! I'm a little surprised with how grown up she is lately. When did that happen??
