Potty Training - Day 1

So today we started potty training Kallista. For the entire day.....7 accidents. I don't think that is too bad for the first day. By the end of the day she was starting to get very annoyed with this whole "underwear situation". She didn't want to go to try going bathroom every 30-45 minutes anymore. She didn't want to hear me trying to be positive and enthusiastic about peeing on the potty. She also didn't want to have daddy help her what-so-ever.

It doesn't help that Andy and I are exhausted. We didn't get to bed until 3:30 this morning and I was up at 8:30 because I was excited about the whole "underwear situation". 5 hours of sleep just aren't enough to keep me going all day.

Kalli is tired as well. She didn't end up napping because #1, I'm worried about her peeing while sleeping and had to get a pull-up on her. #2, she didn't want to sleep then and was fighting it with all of her might.

Towards the end of the night I started letting her put different underwear on every time she attempted to go potty on the toilet. I figure that now would be a good time to pick my battles!
