Happy Memorial Day

Last night we spent the night in our new tent in my parent's back yard. We had a fire and toasted marshmallows. At 11:30, Cassie asked to go to sleep. We took the kids into the tent and Cassie pretty much passed out immediately. Kalli...she was still full of energy and wouldn't let Andy and I read before bed. We slept until 5:30 am...when the birds decided it was morning. It was like sleeping in an Aviary! So...we did what anyone in our situation would do. We moved into the house and went back to bed. Kalli and I crawled into bed together and Andy slept in my dad's chair. Cassie...she is a little on the nuts side... stayed awake. Kalli and I woke up at 9!

Once we got home, Cassie mentioned she was tired and wanted to lay down. I brought her into my room and she was asleep almost instantly. She woke when we woke her at 5. However...she woke with a fever. I have no idea what to make of it. She feels fine, is playing, and is eating/drinking alright. Just has a fever. Add to that equation that Andy is sick and Kalli is complaining of a sore throat...what you end up with is an exhausted Paula. I'm tired and wondering why we get sick so often.

I'll contemplate this as I go to sleep. I'll give more updates tomorrow....or when I can.
