Friday

Time...and how there isn't enough of it!!

Today was a very busy day. I spent it in constant motion. Mostly running from one doctor's office to another. The good news of the day though is this...

1. Cassie got her cast off for good
2. Cassie is going to only have a brace from the knee down on the left leg.
3. Lastly...the day is over :)
It wasn't really that bad, but it was hectic. Started by having to be at McDougall's office for 9:30 to get the cast cut off. Then headed over to Emery's for new braces. When this was done at 11:30 we ran to McD's to get Cassie some food to eat on the way to school. I then went home to relax ever so briefly until I had to get Cassie ready to go to the bank and run a couple other errands before going to pick Cassie up from school to bring her to her 4:00 appt back at McDougall's. We left McDougall's at 5...and I would have gone to make another appt at Emery's, but he was closed for the day. Can you say hectic? I feel like when Andy gets home tonight I should reintroduce myself. :)

And tomorrow isn't looking all that much better. I need to get to the Y to do progress reports for the 8 classes I teach (which equals out to almost 40 reports I need to write up). Should take about .5-.75 hour or so. Then we are having our new chair delivered between 10-12. We really need to do some grocery shopping and of course it is laundry day too. And I haven't even mentioned spending time with our children or each other. UGH!

Luckily we got to spend lots of time together as a family when Cassie was on spring break. Andy actually took that Friday off of work so we could do things all day. With the weather's cooperation, we spent part of the day at the NEW Zoo and pretty much did "family" things all day. The kids loved it and come the following Monday, Kalli cried everytime one of us had to go out...like to work and school. She even was upset when Cassie had to go to school in the morning...saying "stay home....no school...peas". I get the feeling that she enjoyed the time we spent all together!
