Notice anything different???

Sunday was a wonderful day for us. We were suppose to go out to Sara's, but due to the fact that she has stomach flu, we decided against it. We do not want anymore colds/flus/illnesses! YUCK!

Instead we spent it as a Family Day. It was lots of fun and we've already talked about making it a somewhat regular thing. We went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch...the girls had an absolute blast. We spent 2 hours there just having a good time. Afterwards we went to Bay Park Square to walk off some of the pizza. As we were walking around I decided to do something special for Kalli Jean. Below is a picture that shows what I did.

Ok...she doesn't look thrilled in the picture, but she didn't want to show me what I wanted to get a picture of. If you didn't notice...her ears are pierced. She did very well when she had them done...only cried for like 5 seconds. She doesn't enjoy the 3 times a day I have to clean them some and turn the earrings, but over the next 6 weeks she'll get used to it. Today we were looking in the mirror together and she said "Ears pretty". I've been wearing my earrings so she can see my pretty ones too. She seems to like them...and looking at them.

And for those of you that wonder...I asked Cassie if she wanted to get hers done too and she declined. In fact, she covered her ears and said "no". lol Maybe I should have had hers done when she was younger too. Then again...she's never been a girlie girl. Maybe she'll never want them pierced. Only time will tell.
