Well...it's been a while since I blogged last. Been staying pretty busy though. This week Cassie had two doctor appointments. At the first we scheduled Cassie's surgery. This coming Monday we'll be at the hospital nice and early at 6:30am. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate mornings?

I understand wanting to get it done right away to get her up and going again, but at the same time...we have Becky's wedding this weekend already and then we go right into surgery. :) Isn't that life though? Run run run!

Today Cassie pointed out something in her mouth to me saying that it felt funny. I looked at it and it didn't look good to me. It looked like her gum was swollen up and over her tooth. The top surface of her tooth even seemed to be covered in swollen skin. I was a little concerned, thinking that this isn't a good time for her to have an abscess or something. She said that it wasn't hurting it just felt funny on her tongue. So tonight I took a better look at it. I used a toothpick to see if it was food stuck to the tooth or what was going on and I couldn't figure it out. I used Hydrogen Peroxide to try cleaning it and still wasn't sure what it was. Then I looked at the other side of her mouth and noticed something "off" I counted how many teeth were on the one side and then the 2nd side. Low and behold the tooth in question isn't infected or anything....it is just coming through the surface of the gum. I told Cassie who was a little worried about having to go to the dentist and she cheered. The rest of the night she cuddled with me alternating between laughing and crying. She is soooo excited about getting her first of her 6 year molars. And me...I'm glad it isn't hurting her at all. :)

My little girl is growing up so quickly!!
