Kalli - 0 ; Table - 1

So tonight Kalli was playing and fell. Doesn't sound like a big deal?? Usually I'd say it isn't either. Except for the fact that she fell into the table...the corner of it. With her eye.

I saw it happen in what seemed like slo-mo from in the kitchen. There was nothing I could do to stop it...but I was to her before she even got turned around. I grabbed her and held her...checking her eye to see if it was ok. Once I got her calmed down I got to look better. She didn't get her actual eye (thank goodness) but did get from the outer corner down to her cheek. It was raised and quite red. She let me put ice on it for a total of about 2 minutes and then wanted to go back to playing. Let me just say this...that girl has spunk. And a high tolerance of pain!

She was fine for the rest of the night...though I kept a close eye on her. It was still raised when she went to bed, but didn't seem to be affecting her at all. She will probably have a nice little shiner for a while though. {This picture doesn't really show it all that well either...}

I on the other hand lost about 3 years from my life.
