Miss Independant

I have a little girl that, in the past 2 weeks, has become Miss Independant. For anyone who is wondering who I'm talking about...it is Kalli. In the past two weeks she has become increasingly independant along with more strong-willed and loud. I want her to become more independant, however she is to the point now that she doesn't want anyone to do anything for her. And, if she needs something done, the first person she goes to is Cassie. This isn't really a bad thing...it just is frustrating when you want to go somewhere, but you have to wait until she can zip her own jacket and get her mittens on...which is impossible for her to do both on her own.

She now knows what she wants and if you argue with her or don't understand what it is she wants..she gets louder in letting you know. She has been doing a lot of crying because we won't give her what she wants and something I REALLY do not like. If she gets upset with you, she will lay on the floor and bang her head against the floor crying "oww...oww". I'm sure the people upstairs from us think we beat her or something. I try to ignore it because I dont want her to think that if she does this, she will get what she wants...or attention for that matter. It isn't easy though.

Cassie isn't sure what to do about her little sister. Most times she just looks at me and shakes her head. Today Buffy swatted at Cassie and got her head (this really didn't hurt, but Cassie thinks it did) Kalli came over and hugged Cassie, kissed her on the cheek and rubbed her back. So my question is...what do they need me for anymore?
