So today was a lazy day...didn't even get out of my pjs until after noon. I got up and got Cassie ready for school, but Andy brought her out to the bus. I did some cleaning, but other then that...nothing. Now here comes the problem... On days like this, what on earth should I blog about? I could pick a topic out of the air to blog about, but I like to save that kind of thing for my other blog. Besides this one is suppose to be more about the girls and not odd subjects.
So here is as good as it gets today...
The girls are watching a movie...one of the several Pooh ones we have. I'm on the computer chillin' for a bit. Kalli walks in carrying her red container full of toys. We're not talking one or two toys here, we're talking a large bucket full of toys. She sets the container on her little chair that is in here by the computer and when I ask what she is doing she says, "Bourpt" and begins to hand me one toy at a time. I take these toys and set them on the desk asking her to say what she is doing again. "Bourpt" she says again (like duh mom). By now the desk is full, my hands are full, and I'm still confused. I ask her "broke"? "No" is her response. She now notices that I won't/can't take any more toys and starts tossing them on the floor. This goes on until all the toys are out of the red container. At this point I'm just staring at her as she walks out of the room. I'm wondering...did she give up on me? Did she find what she wanted? What the??
I put all the toys back in the container and am finishing up on the computer when she walks back in and looks at all the toys in the container then to me. I can't even describe the look on her face. Then she looks at the computer, points, and says "off". Can someone explain to me why a 2 year old feels that she is my boss? I tell her, "Yes, mommy is done", and I turn the computer off. She then walks to the door and shuts the light off.
