Camping

Well, we're back from camping. We went from Saturday (8/19/06) til Monday (8/21/06). It was fun, relaxing, and I don't think that any of us wanted to come back home. My bestest friend, Becca, came along and let me just say that I loved it because #1. I love having her around and #2. It was nice to have another adult to keep kids happy. :)

The girls had a blast and weren't anywhere near as crabby as the usually are. However, Cassie got hurt...scrapped up her nose, mouth, and chin real good. At first I thought we were going to have to make a trip to the ER, but the cut on her lip wasn't that bad. (it wasn't open wide or jagged) It was swollen and kept her from talking for about half the day and she complained that her teeth felt funny for the next couple days, but other then that it was wonderful. We went for walks, went to the beach, and played games. The last night there, Sunday, we watched the sunset and later went for a "night walk" We looked at the night sky and pointed out the Big Dipper to Cassie. We also were able to see the space station move through the night sky...something that only lasted for about 2 minutes, but was cool to see at any rate. Cassie also helped us find several satellites. She is going to be just like her daddy...in love with the night sky. Kalli during all of this...fell asleep in her stroller :) lol

Needless to say the day we got home Kalli was asking to go to bed at 6:00pm. I love outdoors!!
